Provast develops new 30,000 sqm office for ANWB in The Hague
Provast has started construction of the new office for the ANWB in The Hague. The office will be approximately 30,000 sqm and, in addition to workspaces and meeting facilities, will also incorporate a theatre, an ANWB retail store and a mobility hub.
Provast is delivering this sustainable and innovative office building as a bespoke development for the ANWB. The facility will serveas a workspace and meeting place for members, partners, visitors and ANWB staff alike. The building will constitute a distinctivelandmark in a prominent location in the Beatrixkwartier and will be characterised by transparent, inviting and architectural expression. The design is by architectural firm MVRDV and is defined by two spacious entrances connected by a multifunctional passageway.

The Hague - Beatrixkwartier

It is a modern district located in the Bezuidenhout neighbourhood, featuring offices, shops, restaurants and hotels, and is easily accessible by both car and public transport. The ANWB office represents Provast’s seventh development within this area.

Provast acquires 11,000 sqm UWV office building in Alkmaar station area
Provast has acquired the UWV office in Alkmaar from a fund managed by Harbert Management Corporation in partnership with QUAN Investors. The office has a floor area of approximately 11,000 sqm, whilst the plot covers approximately 13,000 sqm. The office building is let to the UWV on a long-term lease. Provast has acquired the office building with the aim to redevelop this location. The Alkmaar station area has been designated by the municipality and NS as a key development area. The aim is to create a high-quality urban environment with a mix of residential, commercial and recreational facilities. The redevelopment of the UWV location is in line with this and contributes to the transformation into an attractive urban hub. This objective aligns well with Provast’s high level of ambition when it comes to inner-city redevelopment projects. With this strategic acquisition, Provast is taking a significant step in the redevelopment of the station area, thereby further realizing its own growth ambitions.
