At the Leiden Bio Science Park, Provast is developing a new 12.000 m² building for Batavia Biosciences. This includes office space, laboratory space, and a production facility for the manufacture of vaccines and medicines.

Provast is custom developing this flexible building for Batavia Biosciences. Batavia Biosciences will use the building for the production of vaccines and medicines against various infectious diseases. The design features a modern appearance and a high degree of flexibility. The new building will be a prominent landmark and will be prominently visible from the A44.

In the development of the sustainable building, various sustainable applications have been considered, such as PV panels, a gas-free design, and compliance with BREEAM sustainability guidelines. Paul de Ruiter Architects is responsible for the design. The façade will have a modern appearance and will be composed of aluminum panels and horizontal louvers. With a large floor height of 6.5 meters, the building will have a high degree of flexibility.
